University Career Services Boasts a Busy Fall

University Career Services (UCS) is offering four virtual fairs and seven virtual career education workshops in October & November. UCS Executive Director Tierney Bates says his staff has great programs planned for students throughout the semester.

"November is National Career Development Month, which is a unique opportunity for [students] to be involved and engaged in [their] own professional and personal development around career planning," says Bates. He adds that his staff are looking forward to hosting students and having a conversation about how they can be successful in thier career development.

Event details and Zoom links are on the University Career Services website. Students can register for fairs on Handshake. Bates says that his staff encourage students to participate in the UCS "Prepare for the Fairs" series and virtual career education workshops, and also to schedule 1:1 Career Coaching via Handshake prior to the fairs.
