Serenity Space for students opens in Carolina Union

A serenity space for students now has a more permanent home in the Carolina Union for students to relax and recharge as the end of the semester approaches. The space is open on the third floor of the Carolina Union, near the aquarium lounge.

With a renewed space designed for relaxation, the space offers quiet moments, calming activities such as coloring, mindfulness, and a place to unwind. It features both high- and low-sensory areas, including ambient noise, low lighting, and comfortable seating.

The pop-up serenity space launched with support the Carolina Union, Student Wellness, New Student and Family Programs, and the LGBTQ Center, among others.
