Mateo Carvalho is double majoring in Public Policy and Political Science. Mateo is a Program Assistant at The Corner Teen Center where he helps to run their free afterschool program for middle school students. Mateo also assists with drop-in programing for older teens. Mateo is involved in several policy and political groups and organizations on campus. Mateo will be participating in the UNC Honors in Public Policy in Washington D.C. program in Spring 2018, and will spending his semester interning and taking class.
