Students and alumni joined together recently for the 2016 MALES Pin Lineage Kickoff. The program, which partners current students and alumni men of color, is in its second year and has more than 120 participants. First year students got to meet their mentors for the first time and upper class students got to reconnect with their mentors. Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Winston Crisp welcomed the crowed and reminded them of the program's purpose. Tim Minor, vice president for University Advancement at University of North Carolina General Administration, delivered the keynote address to the crowd of 40 attendees.
