A student actor throws post-it notes in the air

‘Every Brilliant Thing’ uses theater to build resilience

January 10, 2024 | |

Sunlight. Bubble wrap. The fact that sometimes there is a perfect song to match how you’re feeling.

What gives your life meaning? “Every Brilliant Thing,” a one-actor performance by Duncan Macmillan with Jonny Donahoe, explores this question through theater and delves into topics of mental health and well-being.

PlayMakers will tour Every Brilliant Thing to all corners of UNC–Chapel Hill, in collaboration with UNC Student Affairs. For UNC-Chapel Hill students to register for a CLE-approved performance, please register on HeelLife (at no cost to students).
