Attending to Nature: Environmental Ethics at the North Carolina Botanical Garden

When was the last time you really paid attention to nature?
We’ll start with a short, guided discussion on environmental ethics over lunch, and then head outside for a hands-on activity designed to help us practice being more attentive to the world around us.
A limited number of carpool spots will be available to get to and from the Botanical Garden.
If you’re interested in a short optional reading to frame the discussion, please look at Aldo Leopold’s essay “The Land Ethic.”
