Student Affairs Finance fosters student success by providing expert knowledge and a commitment to excellence through the management of financial resources for Student Affairs, while upholding the financial integrity of the University. Support for our ~18 departments is divided among 4 finance hubs with leadership from our Student Affairs Central Finance.

Amber has been with UNC Chapel Hill - Student Affairs since February 2019. Prior to transitioning to the Senior Finance Director’s role, Amber served as the Director of Business Services in the Carolina Union, leading a team of finance professionals in support of a large auxiliary unit and over 800 student organizations. Amber has an MBA and more than 25 years of business, finance, and accounting experience, including senior finance positions with federal agencies across the globe. Amber has extensive experience with strategic planning, financial analysis, budget preparation and stakeholder management.
