Wild Food and Medicine with Kim Calhoun

We will be visiting the Blue Heron Farm Community in Chatham County to learn from Kim Calhoun, an herbalist with over 22 years of experience, about how North Carolina native plants can be used as food and medicine. If you have ever wanted to learn about foraging in NC, now is your chance! Spots are extremely limited so please RSVP if you plan to attend, and be early to the meeting location so we can get to the event on time! We will meet at 3:15 at the space between Cobb parking deck and the adjacent basketball courts, will drive 30 minutes to the farm and will arrive back on campus at 6:30. The workshop will be 2 hours long.
