Native Foraging Tour

This April 23rd, learn the edible and medicinal biodiversity of our very own UNC campus with Compostmates on our Native Foraging Tour. Join us at 5pm by the Oak Tree in the Pit for a physical and intellectual tour of the grounds, learning plant identification and easy medicinal recipes, reading passages from Braiding Sweetgrass and Serviceberry by renowned indigenous ecologist Robin Wall Kimmerer, and including a demonstration of healthy foraging practices by Edible Campus!
