#FOIAFriday at the J-school
A new weekly event at the Hussman School of Journalism and Media: #FOIAFridays are here! Are you interested in transparency and public records, learning more about how government works, and obtaining hidden information? Please come to our new standing Friday series in Carroll Hall, room 283, hosted by Reporter Roundtable, our UNC-CH student chapter of Investigative Reporters and Editors, and faculty advisor, investigative journalist Professor Mack (Erin Siegal McIntyre). There will, at times, be pizza. There will, at times, a real live watchdog in attendance (Lemon the dog). Join them and a rotating cast of special guests for ongoing brainstorming and work sessions related to all things FOIA & public records! Co-hosted by Reporter’s Roundtable, the Journalism Unit, the DTH and more. Starting on September 25th and held 1:00-2:00 p.m every Friday, room 283 in Carroll Hall.
