Distinguished Alumni Lecture

The Department of Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is pleased to announce that Dr. Bryce Reeve, Professor at Duke University, will deliver the 2026 Distinguished Alumni Lecture. The event will take place on April 30, 2026, at 3:30 PM in Howell Hall, Room 205. Dr. Reeve, a distinguished alumnus of UNC, earned his Ph.D. in Psychology from the university. Trained in psychometric methods, Dr. Reeve’s work focuses on assessing the impact of disease and treatments on the lives of patients and their caregivers. This includes the development of clinical outcome assessments using both qualitative and quantitative methods, and the integration of patient-centered data in research and healthcare delivery settings to inform decision-making. The lecture will provide an opportunity for students, faculty, and the broader community to engage with Dr. Reeve’s insights and advancements since leaving UNC.
