CliftonStrengths 101

August 19 @ 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm
CliftonStrengths 101

CliftonStrengths (formerly StrengthsFinder) is a psychological assessment tool that identifies your natural patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving. Instead of fixing weaknesses, it helps you discover and build upon your innate talents to achieve personal and professional success.

If you are unfamiliar with CliftonStrengths, this is a great opportunity to learn about how you can better understand how the tool functions, how you can leverage it, and how you can engage in your time at Carolina from an anti-deficit framework.

Please plan to take the assessment in a quiet, distraction-free environment, and allow 20–30 minutes to complete it in one sitting. Be sure you complete it on your own, so your results truly reflect you. You’ll see your strengths referenced in multiple experiences throughout your time here.

Once you access the assessment, you’ll be prompted to sign in using your UNC Single Sign-On (SSO). This is the same email and password you use to log into your university email. After signing in, select your preferred language and begin.

If you are an upperclassman, graduate, or professional student & are interested in taking the assessment tool, please visit the SEED website to enroll in the SEED strengths program, where you’ll be able to get a free CliftonStrengths code.
