125 Years Memory (Kainan 1890) – Film Screening

Join us for a screening of 125 Years Memory (Kainan 1890), a film based on true events that highlight the enduring friendship between Japan and Turkey. The film tells the story of two historical moments—separated by nearly a century—in which acts of compassion and mutual aid forged a lasting international bond.
The screening will take place on Sunday, April 26 from 3:30 to 5:30 PM in the Nelson Mandela Auditorium at the FedEx Global Education Center (301 Pittsboro St., Chapel Hill, NC 27516). Free parking is available at the McCauley Parking Deck.
A reception will be held prior to the film, featuring Turkish pastries, tea, and raffle prizes, including free roundtrip flights to Turkey.
