Upcoming UCS Events

Each year University Career Services host 14 Job and Internship expos for several groups of employers to come and meet and greet students in a career fair setting to discuss opportunities within their organization. Depending on the fair, anywhere from 20 to 135 employers could be represented at the events. Student attendance at the expos generally varies from 100 to 1,500 depending on the size of the fair.

Two of the departments largest fairs will be happening soon.

2016 Diversity Career Fair

The Diversity Career Fair focuses on bringing together students and employers who are interested in creating work environments that value and promote workforce diversity. At UNC Chapel Hill that would include a variety of things including but not limited to ethnicity, gender, religious background, national origin, race and gender identification. This fair will be pulling together a variety of campus leaders and student organizations to ensure that we create a truly diverse event. Employers representing non-profits, for-profits and governmental organizations will be attending this event. Career and internship expos give students the opportunity to make real connections with employers from a wide variety of industries. They also help students learn about companies and industries they might be interested in.
