DESCRIPTION:Model UN Staff Training: How to Staff a Model United Nations Conference\n\nThis event is an open training for students interested in how to staff a Model United Nations training\, specifically students interested in the field of international affairs and diplomacy. It will consist of several training modules\, including a rundown of the timeline depicting important dates coming up before UNC’s premier Model United Nations Conference\, tips and tricks on how to write a background guide and use Chicago-style citations\, and how to collaborate effectively as a team. These trainings are created by our UNCMUNC secretariat members who specialize in academic affairs and Model United Nations\, and are in the form of an interactive slideshow. Then\, there will be a short Q&A period where students can ask questions about what they’ve learned and apply it to the next conference they staff.
