DESCRIPTION:Data Matters: Introduction to Machine Learning and Big Data for Social Science Research\n\nSponsored by the UNC Chapel Hill Odum Institute\, Data Matters™ is a week-long series of intensive one and two-day online courses aimed at students and professionals in business\, research\, and government. \nIn this course we explore how Big Data concepts\, processes and machine learning methods can be used within the context of Survey and Social Science Research.  Throughout this course we will illustrate key concepts using specific survey research examples including tailored survey designs and nonresponse adjustments and evaluation.   \nRegistration and fee are required to receive Zoom link.
