E. Luse, M.Ed. Director of the Carolina Union 919.966.3120 lused@email.unc.edu Donald E. Luse came to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1992 from Indiana University where he worked as Assistant Director for Programs. Luse graduated with an M.Ed. from the Student Personnel program at the University of South Carolina in 1975. He completed a B.A. at Bowling Green State University and worked for Bowling Green's Firelands Campus from 1969-1973 as Instructional Media Coordinator. Luse's entire professional career has been in the field of student activities and college unions. He has served in many volunteer positions with the Association of College Unions International. Most recently, he chaired ACUI's Annual Conference in New York City. Mr. Luse's position at with the Carolina Union includes working with the Carolina Union Performing Arts Series presented in Memorial Hall. Each year, the Union selects and presents professional touring artists while supporting campus performances as well. Luse has actively supported the arts as an important part of the University's mission and has worked to bring the arts to students and members of the local community. |
