Jim Kessler, Director of Disability Services, celebrated 31 years of working with persons with disabilities this past April 2001. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Master of Arts in Rehabilitation. He has been with the University and the Department of Disability Services since 1982. Prior to working at the University he worked in private, state, and federal rehabilitation agencies. Away from the office, he assists his wife in taking care of their dogs, cats, guinea pigs, chickens, turkey, and pigs which number over thirty.
