Dater's Bill of Rights
You have the right to:
- Refuse a date without feeling guilty.
- Say "no" to physical closeness.
- Say "I want to know you better before I become
more involved or before we have sex".
- Say "I don't want to be in this relationship
any longer".
- An equal relationship with the opposite sex.
- NOT be abused physically, sexually or emotionally.
- Have friends, including those of the opposite sex.
- Express your feelings.
- Set limits, to say "no" or "yes",
and to change your mind if you so choose, without permission from
anyone else.
- Stop physical intimacy, even if in the middle of it.
- Have your morals, values, and beliefs respected.
- Say " I don't want to please you at this time,
or do that."
- Talk with others about your relationship.
- Be as open or as closed as you
feel comfortable.
