Crisis Management Team

The Dean of Students staff coordinates the University's response to crisis issues involving students. By responding to emergencies such as suicidal or threatening behavior, accidental injury or death, and other incidents that require urgent action, staff members work to ensure communication between University and community resources. Frequent contact with media agencies, other Student Affairs departments such as Student Health Services and University Housing and Residential Education, and integration of University disciplinary policies into the response are all important parts of this function. The Emergency Notification Policy is administered through this office.
