Meet Tyler

Tyler Mills began his contributions to the Frank Porter Graham Student Union this year as the chair of the Pop Culture committee of the Carolina Union Activities Board. He has been an incredibly active and supportive member of the group, developing numerous creative and innovative ideas for student body programs. Concerts, small lectures, film discussions, and a Harry Potter Extravaganza were all ideas that he helped bring to reality.

As a result of his diligence, creativity and natural leadership abilities, Adele Ricciardi, Carolina Union President 2010, tapped Tyler to replace her upon her December 2010 graduation. Tyler began his tenure as Union President in December of 2010, diving headfirst into the campaign to renovate the downstairs area of the Union. He is a source of inspiration for his peers on the activities board and his contribution to UNC has only begun to be felt!
