Meet Michael

Michael started his contributions to Housing and Residential Education through his work on the Carmichael/Whitehead Community Government in his first-year at UNC. He quickly established a reputation for himself, and was hired as both a Summer Assistant and Resident Advisor.

Michael is a very talented Resident Advisor. He has extremely strong mentoring skills, and has made a strong positive impact on a number of the students in our community. He has worked extensively to provide strong quality educational opportunities that augment classroom learning in the residential environment and has worked with Community Government to bring some of these opportunities to the entire Morrison Community.

Michael has a strong dedication to making a positive impact in the lives of anyone he meets. Michael was diagnosed with Tourette's Syndrome in High School, and in the last year has become extremely dedicated to educating others on what it is like to live with Tourette's and how it has impacted him in both positive and negative ways. He has educated many within the Morrison and larger UNC community and has worked with the Tourette's Syndrome Association to begin making an even larger impact.
