Connect is a way to allow staff in the Division of Student Affairs to discover other people, find someone with a particular skill set and connect across departments. Connect is a social network, like Facebook, only it is internal to UNC. You can also create groups here and share documents and discussions - great for ad hoc projects or formal committees. 

Based on a free, open-source software platform called Elgg, Connect aims to make it easier to learn more about everyone. Complete your profile by clicking on the "Your Profile" link in the top left corner to get started. You can also create groups and invite people to join you for discussions, document sharing and more.
