“Welcome” from the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs! Our job is to oversee the actions of the Division of Student Affairs and to ensure we are doing everything we can to enhance the quality of student life for our students outside of the classroom. With over 27,000 students seeking higher education opportunities in undergraduate, graduate and professional programs, the Division of Student Affairs works in partnership with the faculty and academic administration to provide a holistic educational experience for all students. Our goal is to provide the optimal experience in which learning and growth for each student can occur.
The Division of Student Affairs provides endless opportunities for our students to become leaders on the Carolina campus and in the global community. The programs and services offered by each of our departments encompass the areas of Student Life, Health & Wellness, Diversity, and Leadership & Service.
The Division of Student Affairs is equipped with hundreds of hard-working educators eager to meet our diverse student body's needs. Staff in the Office of the Vice Chancellor work closely with campus administrators, faculty, and most importantly - students themselves - in supporting the campus learning environment. The door of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs office is always open to a student or parent wanting to chat, and we truly hope you will feel free to send us an email. We can assure you that your input will be seriously considered.
Best wishes as you experience Carolina!
